Progress
Orthographic Drawings
We first started off with some planning and task delegation. I chose to draw both floor plans and helped inking sections. Once we have finalized drawings or have completed earlier, we would start off with the modelling first. Throughout the tutorials, our team have always asked for feedbacks to seek for further improvements in our drawings.
Modelling
After finalizing all drawings, our team immediately went back to modelling. From the floor plans, our team chose a section where it can best showcase the materiality and construction details.
Reflection
As this was an group assignment, and also work with Interior students, it was quite exciting yet nerve wrecking at first. However, it turn out to be a really pleasant experience as we get to learn from each other. For instance, architecture students helping and teaching interior students about the drawing conventions and modelling tips throughout the process. Although at times there were members who are non-active, we will always fins methods to ensure that our work flow is not disrupted and work can be distributed equally among us.
In this assignment, there definitely requires loads of communications as we are working in teams. In a team, we have to learn how to communicate with each other, to ensure that all members are fully aware of the teams' progress and directions. Constant reminders and checkups on members are done to ensure everyone is on the right track.
